The second Full Moon of 2011 was a sight to see. Early evening, as we backed the car out of the driveway to go to dinner- all you could see was this GIANT glowing moon lighting up all the woods. No camera in hand, I memorized the moment.
This work was done using Golden Acrylic Paints (which I think are the best). The "usability" of the paint and gels help the arist to also work in Mixed Media. The main tree trunks are art papers, cut and torn and "painted in" to the work.
The Moon on this original work really GLOWS! (Can't give out that secret of why- unless you buy! ;-) That is one of the reasons it was titled NIGHT LIGHT.
With this artwork on your wall-- you will enjoy the woods, the sky a cerulean blue- and a small deer hiding in the background to grret you.
Folks have been "pining away" over this work so it has been archived and available as reproductions.
Bella Luna!
